Preparation technique for high-purity manganese carbonate
manufacturing technique of high-purity manganese carbonate through ammonium salt circulating method, which comprises the following steps: 1. adopting poor manganese ore to recycle artificial Mn (OH) 2 or high grade other manganese ore; reducing and sintering to obtain MnO and condensed ammonium sulfate; evaporating NH3 gas out of tower; meeting cold water to recycle the regenerative ammonia; reacting with recycled CO2 to obtain regenerative ammonium carbonate; filtering slag to obtain manganese liquid; 2. Heating manganese sulfate liquid after purifying; obtaining the crystal; dissolving into the water; proceeding ion exchange to purify to obtain high-purity manganese sulfate liquid; 3. Making condensed high-purity ammonium carbonate solution; 4. Pumping two high-purity liquid into double-circulating metathetical sediment; obtaining high-purity MnCO3 crystal; 5. Recycling mother water; condensing; obtaining the regenerative condensed ammonium sulfate liquid; circulating; 6. Adopting ammonium chloride and ammonium nitrate to replace ammonium sulfate.

Manganese (atomic symbol: Mn, atomic number: 25) is a Block D, Group 7, Period 4 element with an atomic weight of 54.938045. The number of electrons in each of Manganese's shells is [2, 8, 13, 2] and its electron configuration is [Ar] 3d5 4s2. The manganese atom has a radius of 127 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 197 pm. Manganese was first discovered by Torbern Olof Bergman in 1770 and first isolated by Johann Gottlieb Gahn in 1774. In its elemental form, manganese has a silvery metallic appearance. It is a paramagnetic metal that oxidizes easily in addition to being very hard and brittle. Manganese is found as a free element in nature and also in the minerals pyrolusite, braunite, psilomelane, and rhodochrosite. The name Manganese originates from the Latin word mangnes, meaning "magnet."
Uses : The material of ferrite for electrical equipment, Industrial Manganous Carbonate used as catalyst, pigment, drier, the material of manganese salts, or used in medicine, mechanical parts and phosphating process. It also can be used in the fertilizer as track element.
Molecular formula: MnCO3 CAS: 598-62-9 Manganese carbonate
Uses of Manganese carbonate: Manganese carbonate is widely used as an additive to plant fertilizers to cure manganese deficient crops. It is also used in health foods, in ceramics as a glaze colorant and flux, and in concrete stains. In addition, the substance is widely used as desulfurization catalyst, medicine and welding wire materials. Manganese carbonate is used for the preparation of manganese salt and used as the material of telecommunications equipment components.
Properties ( Phosphorous Grade ):
White amorphous powder. The air is easy oxidation and color becomes shallow brown. The relative density 3.125. Hot to 100 ℃ start decomposing to carbon dioxide and manganese oxide to 300 ℃ above is decomposed into carbon monoxide and manganese oxide of high prices. Insoluble in water and alcohol, soluble in dilute acids.
Manganese carbonate CAS No.:598-62-9 Main properties and features
Manganese carbonate CAS No.:598-62-9 is rosy triangle crystal or amorphous brown powder. Calcined in the pyrolusite powder direct acidification method, which can shorten process, lower cost and reduce pollution to environment; widely used in ferrite, desulfurizatio, porcelain glaze, varnish, manganese salt, fertilizers, pharmacy and machine parts and agriculture.
